Most Glomax8K problems are fixed in under five minutes, and most of them are not on the server. Here are the fixes in the order our support team works through them on WhatsApp. Start at the top and stop when it works.
Restart the device and the router
2 minUnplug the stick or TV and the router for 30 seconds. Sticks in particular slow down after days without a restart. It sounds trivial; it fixes a surprising share of tickets.
Test your speed on the same device
2 minRun a speed test on the TV or stick itself, not on your phone. You want about 15 Mbps for HD, 25 for Full HD, 35 for 4K and 50 for 8K, per screen. Below that, choose a lower quality version of the channel.
Fix the Wi-Fi
5 minSwitch to the 5 GHz network, move the router or the device, or use an Ethernet cable or adapter. Weak 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi is the single biggest cause of IPTV freezing.
Check the login
2 min“Invalid login” usually means a missing port in the server URL, a capital letter typed wrong or a trailing space. “Expired” means the term ended. Compare with your WhatsApp message or see the login guide.
Switch the decoder for black screens
1 minIn the player settings, change the decoder from hardware to software (or back) for that channel. A black picture with working sound is almost always a decoder issue.
Turn on the built-in VPN for evening buffering
2 minIf it is smooth in the afternoon and freezes after 8 p.m., your internet provider is likely slowing video at peak hours. Switching on the VPN hides the stream type and usually ends it. Ask us how for your app.
Reload the TV guide
2 minIn the app, update the EPG manually and set the time offset if programmes are an hour out after a clock change. Some channels carry no guide data; that is normal.
One channel down? Try its other version
1 minMany channels exist in HD, FHD and 4K versions. If one does not open, try another, and tell us — single channels are usually back within the hour.
Send us a photo
1 minStill stuck? Send a photo of the screen, your device and app name on WhatsApp. We can see your line status and move it to another server if needed.
What we check on our side
| Symptom | What support checks |
|---|---|
| Freezing on every channel | Server load for your line, then moves it if needed |
| Too many connections | Whether more screens are playing than your plan allows |
| Login refused | Line status, expiry date, typing errors |
| Portal not loading (MAG) | MAC address match |
Is it a big match night?
At kick-off of the biggest games, every service carries its heaviest load and replies can take a little longer. Anti-Freeze 9.8 switches sources automatically, so a short stutter usually clears by itself within seconds.
Still not playing?
Send a photo on WhatsApp. A person looks at your line, day or night.
Questions about this
Usually weak Wi-Fi, a slow device or an internet provider slowing video at peak hours. Restart, use 5 GHz or Ethernet, then try the built-in VPN.
Most often a missing port in the server URL, a mistyped capital letter or a trailing space. If it still fails, your line may have expired; message support.
Switch the player decoder between hardware and software for that channel. It is a playback setting, not a line fault.
Update the EPG manually in your app and wait a few minutes. A few channels carry no guide data at all.
Usually within minutes, 24/7 on WhatsApp. Around the start of the biggest matches it can take a little longer.
